ER25 COLLET

An ER25 collet is a type of collet used in CNC machines and other precision machinery for securely holding cutting tools like drills, taps, and end mills. It's a part of the ER collet system, which is a widely used clamping system in the machining industry. The "25" in ER25 refers to the diameter of the tapered receptacle (in millimeters) where the collet fits. ER25 collets typically have a clamping range from 1mm to 16mm.

  ER25 collets are designed to grip round-shank tools, providing a secure and accurate hold for various machining operations like milling, boring, reaming, and tapping.

  • Material:

    They are typically made from hardened alloy spring steel, providing the necessary flexibility and strength for clamping.

        The ER collet system is known for its interchangeability. Different sizes of ER collets (like ER8, ER16, ER32, etc.) are designed to fit into corresponding ER collet chucks.
